Our Commitment to Environmental Protection

Taking care of the environment is very important to us. We work hard to use resources wisely and make our processes more eco-friendly. Our goal is to help protect nature and reduce waste.

Responsible Waste Disposal 

Our company does not produce hazardous waste. Our regular waste is like household waste and is collected in two 240-liter bins, which are emptied once a month by the local waste service.

We also make sure to dispose of special waste properly:

• Styrofoam, electronic waste, and batteries are taken to the local recycling center.
• We recycle waste paper. We collect paper, cardboard, and cartons, which Kraichgau-Werkstatt turns into eco-friendly packaging material. This material is shredded for the company KAROPACK GmbH, bought back by us, and used for shipping. This way, we create a cycle that helps the environment and supports the valuable work of people in the workshop.

Saving Energy and Using Resources Wisely

• We do not use process wastewater to keep the environment clean.
• We turn off most electrical devices like PCs and machines at night. Our workstations have power strips with switches to make this easy.
• We have replaced all fluorescent lights with energy-saving LED lights to use less electricity.

Eco-Friendly Supply Chains We choose suppliers with short delivery routes to reduce CO2 emissions and protect the environment.
Our efforts help the environment and show our responsibility for future generations. We are always looking for new ways to improve and create a greener future.
